Come! It is time to share the first few days of Syawal with all. :)

On the first day, as usual, we only went to a few houses earlier in the day. My grandma's, my dad's uncle's home, and lastly, my dad's stepmother's home. Only this year, instead of being at Tampines, my dad's stepmother is staying at Jurong West with another one of my dad's younger siblings, although born by another mother aka his stepmother. The reason of the relocation was because Nek Ah (that is what we call her) suddenly had stroke, and is now still too weak to walk and needs wheelchair. She actually stays at Tampines wif my dad's younger bro and his wife, but because both my uncle and aunt are working, and they are afraid that my Nek Ah will get hurt when left alone, my dad's younger sister who is staying at Jurong West wif her family, decided that for the time being, Nek Ah just stay with her. At least she can make sure that all Nek Ah's needs will be met.

In the evening, we went to my dad's good friend's house, also at Jurong West.

My dad and his good friend, Cik Adon.

On the 2nd day of Syawal, we only went to 1 house, my dad's cousin's house at Teck Whye Lane. After maghrib, my sister's ehm ehm aka my future bro-in-law (insya Allah) came with another colleague. Oh did I mention earlier that my sister and abang Alfian are colleagues? Ya they are colleagues. Then around 10pm, my dad's cousin came with her husband.

The funny thing is, even though we brought our cameras, we somehow always forget to take pics wif family members coz its like we are always rushing, and we would only realise in the car that we did not take any pics. Haha... :P Must improve on that next year.

3rd day of Syawal, my dad was working. So we did not go out. But I met with my Dearie!! :) Gosh how I missed him when we did not meet... As usual, he came, then I helped him with his assignment. This year, we were different. Dearie gave me duit Raya. Hehe... Then, before he left, as what people always do when it is Hari Raya, we seek forgiveness from each other. But this year, we really cried. Yes, I meant we. Even Dearie cried. I am having a hard time with his family, even though they hv accepted me. The reason, his sister and I... She keeps on hating me. She had accused me of many bad things. My heart is very hurt. But what Dearie said that make me cry, was that we have to persevere, we have been through many things in the last 6 years, it will be a waste to throw all that away jus because of his sister. N he said, that everyday that I did something wrong, on the day itself he has forgiven me, coz he has chosen me to be his life partner, so no matter what, he will redha, n just do his best to make me be a better person. N he promised that as long as he lived, he will take good care of me. His exact words in Malay, 'selagi I hidup, I tak kan sia-sia kan u.' That made me cry even more. When he was saying all that, he was crying. He said to me, 'you dunno how much I love and sayang at you. Coz maybe I not good at showing all that. But only Allah knows.' I know, he just wants me to be strong, and ignore whatever his sister do to me.

Dearie, I will try be strong, I have been enduring so much pain since the last 6 years, now just waiting for 2-3 years more, then all will be okay.... I just dunno why your sister hate me so much. Cry...

Oh well, let's talk about yesterday. Yesterday was a happy turnaround. Dearie followed me and family to visit my late mum's kubur. Since Dearie was there, we went to his grandparent's kubur as well. :)

In the car on the way to kubur. Look at him!! So cheeky. Hehe....

After going kubur, Dearie drove the car and brought us to Bukit Timah Road to eat. Yum! Then we went back home and Dearie continued his assignment at my house. See, what a good girlfriend I am. Coz if he went back home he wont be able to finish up his assignment with all the relatives coming to his home. I even helped him again. Then my family and I went visiting other relatives' places, Dearie stayed at my home and did his work. Haha....

Before I went with my family. I reminded Dearie, take good care of my house. Hehe... :)

Ok, gotta stop now... Toodles.
