Staff retreat....

Hey I'm back!! Long time no blog.... So what have I been up to?? Hmmm, well, on Thursday and Friday, I wasn't in S'pore. Went to NTUC Childcare annual staff retreat. Remember, last year, it was in September, and we went to Malacca. This year, it was held earlier, and we went to Pulai Springs Resort in Johor.

As the journey from S'pore to the destination was not too long, around 1 hour drive only, the management decided that all the staff etc who are going/involved meet up at 930 at Newton Circus Hawker Centre. I took advantage of the fact since we didn't have to go so early like last year, I asked Dearie if he would like to have breakfast with me first at McDonald's at Tampines Mart. He agreed, and so we did. (smiles)

Around 7am we met up, and had breakfast....

First pic of the day with Dearie.... In my heart, I was sad to leave my family and Dearie, but thankfully the trip was only for 2 days! :)

Yet another pic with my Dearie... Look at our sleepy faces! Hehe...This was taken before we made our moves. Around 8am, we made our moves, and shared a cab, me to Kembangan MRT and Dearie to work. My heart broked when I said goodbye to Dearie. :( *My colleagues were saying, 'So romantic, boyfriend send to MRT!*

In the coach, I looked at the picture, was showing my colleague/friend my Dearie's picture. And in my heart, I felt how terribly I missed him. :(

At our first stop!! Lunch at Apollo restaurant. Hmmm, well, it was stated in the given schedule that it was at a restaurant, but it turned out that it was a sports hall turned into a dining hall. Haha.... Quite stuffy there.... Our principal had went to the resort 1 day earlier.... 3 of our staff could not make it for the staff retreat. Hence, there was only 9 of us, 10 if we included our principal.

Here we are at the resort!! I took this picture just for memory's sake. Hehehe... My group was among the last people to go up to our rooms. Hey, there was 600++ of us there!! All the elevators were cramped. Wanted to walk up the stairs, but with our luggage, and what with our room being at the top floor (4th floor), no thanks! Rather wait for the elevator.... (If the picture's not straight, its because people kept on pushing and pushing, wanting to rush into the elevator)

At our rooms, we just slacked. Whoops, let's rewind a bit. After lunch, we went shopping, but due to time constraints, we only had around 1 hour to shop! So boring! Haha... And it was raining soooo heavily when it was time to make our way to the resort. That's why in our room, we just slacked, ate our junk food which we bought at the mall, and watched tv. And soon, it was time to get ready for the dinner, 'Vivo Latino' was the theme. Haha.... And look!

Not bad eh! Hehe.... This is Teacher Gayah.... Not her real name anyway... She's closest to me, although she's much older than me. More than 10 years older, but we can talk easily... Our principal told us about the theme the day before we were leaving, so all of us had no time to search clothes that can actually suit the theme, but who cares? I don't care! Hehe... For what I know sone of them will just wear jeans etc, and I was right.

Teacher Dzakiah, who co-incidentally knows my mum. Because she used to send her children to Al-Amin Kindergarten few years back, and my mum used to send my 'brother', a little boy she used to take care of, to the same kindergarten. Small world eh....

Ta-daa!! Hehe... Its yours truly.... Just my simple get-up. For me, there's no point buying something that would end up only in the closet for the rest of the time, or something that I would end up wearing only once. Anyway, notice the junk food on the table? Hehe...

Anyway, Teacher Gayah, Teacher Dzakiah, one of the aunts (centre attendant) and me are room-mates.

Now, at breakfast the next morning (going home soon!!!)

We were at the carpark, awaiting the morning exercise to start. Hehehe.... After that, the events got a little dull, with lotsa negative things coming out from my principal's mouth. Which I don't want to write here. Don't wanna spoil my mood now that I'm back home... 1 thing on my mind at that point of time in the picture was that, I can't wait to go home!! Hehehe...

Happy to be back home with my family, happy to see Dearie again just now.... :) All right, goodnight now. Still a bit tired.... :)
