Mixed-up....

Hmmmm.... nowadays I always have mind block... Before starting to type I have a rough idea of what to blog about, but once I actually start.... Hmmmm...

Ok, to start with, let me apologise to my fren dear Azrin for not attending her wedding.... Because co-incidentally during the same weekend, my dad's younger brother is getting hitched himself. He is the last uncle to get married... My elder sister is always not around when it comes to our relative's wedding, I dunno why... And since my mum had passed away, I can't just let my dad go with my younger sister. My younger sister is closest to me. Correction: She is closest to my late mum. Next in line is me. That's the reason...

Anyways, yesterday was my shift to work... I finish at around 1pm. Dearie came to fetch me, and first we headed to the National Library as I needed to return some books. Next, lunch time, we didn't know where to head to. Ended up, Dearie took me to.... SOFRA.

There, the cup on the table... My first time dining at a Turkish restaurant... There wasn't much of a crowd though.... Me and Dearie were like the 3rd customers there as we saw it. Why did Dearie bring me there? The reason: In the new Malay drama "2 x 5 Dol", the male main character works at this place, hence Dearie thought it would be nice if we tried there. Hehehe... Dearie was so interested that he actually went to look online to see the website! Looking at the menu, we realised that most of the food's main ingredients are lamb, and eggplant. Haha...

Well in the end Dearie ordered this:

SOFRA something-something that the name really beats me... Hard to spell and even harder to pronounce... But it is delicious.... Its chicken with mashed potatoes, mushroom and cheese!! Love cheese.... :)

Whereas I:

My Chicken Baked Rice... Covered with cheese... ooooo so yummy! Our usual tradition, Dearie would give me a portion of his food to eat, and I would give Dearie twice the amount of my food to give Dearie...

Hmmm... Anyways, today I'm just staying at home. The house needs to be cleaned up, and my late mum's youngest sister, my favourite aunt is coming over to cook and she's staying here tonight.... Yeah! Dearie even asked my aunt to make sure I learn from her! Hehe... Ya lah for future, if I ever get married, at least I know how to cook.

Oooh let's rewind... Dearie came to my house a while yesterday, and after a while my favourite aunt came... It's the same aunt who's coming over later. And soon after that, we went to Century Square to watch Shrek 3! Not bad, but I preferred the 2nd Shrek movie. 6 of us went, me and my sisters, my aunt, my youngest cousin, and Dearie! He joined us, oooh it was fun... But it would be better if my late mum was still around... :(
